I also have the Deathly Hallows in hard cover but a friend gave me that one. I want to collect them all because I am a Harry Potter addict! lol But I am trying to see if I can find them all in thrift stores!
All these books that I purchased are in pretty GREAT condition and some even look brand new, no wear and tear on the spines! I am a happy camper....... whatever that means! lol Don't forget to let me know what you think, I love comments!! :)

It is because you really never know what you might find. I recommend everyone should go and check out the books they have at your local thrift store! lol
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! I loved the Help and am really interested in A Wrinkle in Time - the cover is beautiful! Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteRock star! I've perused a few thrift book selections but never scored like this.
ReplyDeleteBonnie -- A Wrinkle In Time is so completely awesome. Madeline L'Engle is amazing and it took over 60 submission attempts before she was published!
Cheers,
Ellen

I am a cat, a feline actor and a cat cartoon character. I am also your newest follower from Book Blogs. My favorite books are The Cat With The Dragon Tattoo and No Country For Old Cats :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Vanessa. I can't wait to get started reading Under The Tuscan Sun! I've never seen the movie lol
ReplyDeleteI am now following your blog as well :)
I say getting a bargain is a great thing, nothing wrong with it :) Honestly, getting books from Thrift Store is almost like adopting animals from the shelter.. these poor abandoned books need new owners, who will read and appreciate them again! It's almost like rescuing books, right? :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I definitely envy you your finds. I think I ought to go to a Thrift Store some time soon myself. Last time I went I got some classics like "Little Women" :) Gotta love Thrift Stores!
Those books are wonderful...I have never thought to look for books at a thrift store....pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteFound you on the blog hop list.
